Edith the Lonely Doll, by Dare Wright – She loved it so much that she wrote letters to the author to tell her what adventures Edith and Little Bear should go on in the next book. Dare Wright, in return, sent Jennifer photographs of Edith and the Bears doing different things. Their correspondence spanned several years and sparked a love of reading and writing, and stuffed bears.
